According to hotel need, the Senior Sales Manager can focus on all types of accounts or can specialize and focus on specific accounts (e.g., Corporate, Association, etc.). Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Responsible for driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. Provides service to our customers in order to grow the account and incremental revenue Create and maintain relationships with clients; reach out to clients to help manage the business process, set and meet client expectations and deliver according to the budget. Executes designated sales strategies to develop and solicit specific accounts to achieve revenue goals. Identifies, qualifies and solicits new accounts with a focus on increasing business. Perform duties associated with business development. Develop and follow a targeted action plan and update plan on a monthly basis. Develop, pursue and follow-through with business leads. Create clients by providing prospects with complete and accurate information on hotel. Develop positive working relationships with existing clients by anticipating needs and acting promptly to rectify any problems. Have a comprehensive understanding of the property and its offerings. Comprehensive knowledge of market position, banquet and food and beverage revenues, pricing and rate structures, sales strategies, yield management, booking trends, and future hotel planning. Be fully knowledgeable of the capabilities and limitations of the hotel and departments that may impact sales strategies. Conduct site tours for potential clients. Maintain and correct procedures for credit control, financial transactions, and security of financial assets. Promptly respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner. |
